BurnoutBlock ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have over it. We keep things plain — no legalese walls.
When you sign up, we collect your email address and optionally your name. We use this to authenticate your account and send you your daily plan if you enable email delivery.
When you connect your Oura Ring via OAuth, we access your biometric data (readiness score, sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, activity, stress) to generate your daily plan. Here's exactly what we do with it:
Privacy by design: We never persist raw biometric data streams. The data flows through our AI model and is immediately discarded after your plan is created.
If you join our waitlist, we store your email address to notify you when BurnoutBlock becomes available. We do not share this with third parties or use it for anything else without your consent.
We collect basic server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) for security monitoring and debugging. These are not linked to your account for analytics purposes and are retained for no longer than 30 days.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status from Stripe after a successful payment.
